Profile / About Me

I am an accredited, experienced, professional and highly qualified psychotherapist and counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have extensive experience of working in the NHS, higher education and private practice. I am committed to providing a confidential and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your difficulties and concerns.

I am a warm, engaging, compassionate and insightful psychotherapist with a strong relational approach to working with clients. I have a gentle but challenging approach to enable you to express your concerns and feelings safely.

I have a background in psychology and as a licensed homoeopathic practitioner, I am interested in the link between the mind and the body, and how thoughts and emotions affect our physical health.

I am also interested in mindfulness, meditation and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) which combines mindfulness and behavioural techiniques to bring understanding, compassion, self care and change.

As an Asian psychotherapist and counsellor, I am interested in working with cultural issues and identity. I offer sessions in English, Urdu and Punjabi.
